Can I ask something of everyone today?

Can we please stop judging everything everyone else is doing?

There is already so much happening in this world. Life is hard enough without all of us feeling like we have to live up to everyone else's expectations while we're just trying to survive, heal and figure this whole thing out.

There is SO much judgment right now.

Religion. Politics. AI. Law enforcement. Murder trials. Medicine. Spirituality. How people parent. How people grieve. What people believe. What people put in their bodies. How people choose to live their lives.

Everyone has an opinion about what everyone else should be doing.

Meanwhile, there are a million things ALL of us could probably be doing better.

We put toxins on our bodies and into Mother Earth. We have people who feel gaslit by the medical community when they just want to be heard and seen. We have people in the spiritual community acting as though one person has the right to hold authority over another person's spiritual path.

None of us has it all figured out.

We are all just trying to survive and heal from things we don't always understand.

And this life is hard.

So maybe we could give each other a little more grace.

You don't have to understand someone's choices to be kind to them.

You don't have to believe what they believe.

You don't have to live the way they live.

You don't even have to agree with them.

Just love people. All people.

And when I say let go of judgment, I don't mean only stop judging the people you think deserve compassion. I mean challenge yourself to notice where you're still deciding that someone else is wrong, bad, stupid, misguided or less deserving of love because they see the world differently than you do.

I am challenging myself to do the same.

So here's my challenge today:

Turn off the TV for a while.

Put down the phone.

Go outside.

Do something good for yourself.

Then do something good for someone else.

Call someone. Help somebody. Compliment a stranger. Pick up some trash. Support a small business. Hug someone you love. Sit with somebody who needs to be heard.

Just put something GOOD back into the world today.

We have enough division.

We have enough anger.

We have enough judgment.

Let's love each other a little harder instead. ❤️
