There are some people whose kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support leave a lasting mark on a community. Today, all of us at Servolution Health Services (SHS) are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Mayor, Joe Brooks.
Long before SHS ever opened its doors, he believed in our vision and stood beside us. As one of our founding Board members, he helped lay the foundation for what SHS has become today. His commitment to serving Claiborne County and improving the lives of its people was evident in everything he did.
His support never ended. His last visit to SHS was to recognize and encourage the social workers who faithfully serve our community. That visit reflected the kind of leader he was—one who cared deeply about people and never missed an opportunity to thank those making a difference.
His friendship, leadership, and servant's heart have blessed SHS in countless ways. We will always be grateful for his belief in our mission, his wisdom, and his dedication to our community.
Though our hearts are heavy today, we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will continue to inspire us for years to come.
To his family, friends, and all who loved him, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you, Mayor, for believing in us, for serving this community so faithfully, and for making Claiborne County a better place.
You will be forever appreciated, forever remembered, and forever missed.
