Thank you to the Kalispel Tribe for hosting us at the Camas Center in Usk, WA on July 21st for our data dissemination evaluating the effects of the First Face (xaʔtu̓s) for Mental Health training. A special thank you toMellany's Bakery, Café & Soup Kitchen for catering our delicious lunch.

We look forward to the future of First Face and sharing more with you. Keep an eye out for future posts as we continue to plan dissemination events for the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, Spokane Tribe, Colville, and Umatilla.

The First Face Team send our condolences to those impacted by the Mitre Rock Fire on the Spokane Tribe Reservation. We're keeping our community members in our thoughts and prayers.

We would like to share a list of resources for those impacted by the fire.

Evacuation locations:
Powwow Grounds available for camping
Wellpinit Longhouse has sleeping & shower availability
Westend Community Center has water available for residents still in the area

Due to wildfires affecting the Colville Reservation, our First Face for Mental Health Data Presentation originally scheduled for July 22nd has been postponed.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the fires, and we are holding the community in our thoughts as safety remains the top priority.

We will share the new presentation date as soon as it has been determined through our social media channels and other communications.
