👉Most people think knee pain means there’s something wrong with the knee itself.
But in many cases, the hips play a major role in how the knee moves and handles stress during activities like walking, hiking, running, and climbing stairs.
Strong hip and core muscles help improve stability, balance, and control of knee positioning. When those muscles aren’t doing their job efficiently, extra stress can be placed on the knee and lower leg.
If knee pain has been limiting your activity, strengthening the right muscles may be part of the solution.
