September is Su***de Prevention & Awareness Month ๐
Behind every conversation about su***de prevention is a person- a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or community member who may be struggling in ways we cannot see. At Frontier Behavioral Health, su***de prevention is more than something we recognize in September. Itโs work our teams are part of every day. FBH operates the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline for Eastern Washington, connecting people in our region with trained crisis professionals who are here to listen, provide support, and help during moments that feel overwhelming.
Reaching out can be difficult. Sometimes it starts with a call or text. Sometimes itโs simply saying, โIโm not okay.โ Every one of those moments matters. This month, we encourage you to check in on the people around you, talk openly about mental health, and remind those you care about that they donโt have to face a crisis alone.
If you or someone you know is struggling, simply call or text 988. Support is available 24/7. For ongoing mental health services, visit fbhwa.org/about/referrals (link in bio). You matter. Your story matters. Help is here.
