Dr. Adam Barg, Physical Therapist, took the time to attend volleyball practice to talk to athletes about ACL injury prevention!

Each athlete was given a copy of a prevention program and an exercise band to complete the exercises.

The Modern Management of the Older Adult (MMOA) courses started in 2017 by Drs. Christina Prevett and Dustin Jones. Both were less than thrilled with how older adults were being treated in the rehabilitation and fitness industries. Often underdosed and rarely respected, they felt the older adult population deserved better.

In partnership with the Institute of Clinical Excellence, they then set out to create a comprehensive certification for clinicians and fitness professionals to better serve older adults.

Since 2017, MMOA now consists of a dedicated team of other clinicians that are working tirelessly to spread the OLD ≠ WEAK message in order to create a better world for older adults.
