Seven years ago, Dr. Mackenzie Thomas took a leap of faith and opened Altitude Audiology with one simple goal: to provide exceptional hearing healthcare while treating every patient like family. What started with a vision has grown into a thriving practice built on hard work, dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right for every patient.

Over the past seven years, Dr. Thomas has poured her heart into building not just a business, but a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely listened to. While her determination laid the foundation, she is the first to say that Altitude Audiology would not be where it is today without the incredible team that stands beside her. Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to outstanding patient care are what make Altitude Audiology truly special.

Most importantly, thank you to the amazing Spring Branch, Bulverde, and surrounding Hill Country communities. Owning a small business has never been just about what happens inside our office.

It's about being part of something bigger.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of supporting local schools, our veterans through the VFW, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Shriners, the Knights of Columbus, youth organizations, community events, and many other incredible causes. Every opportunity to give back reminds us why we chose to build our practice here.

A community doesn't thrive because of one business. It thrives because neighbors choose to support neighbors.

Look who stopped by Altitude Audiology today! Meet Gracie the Giraffe, who came in for her annual hearing test. We weren’t sure she’d fit in the booth, but somehow we made it work. 😅💜

Gracie says she wasn’t taking any chances. When your ears are that far from your feet, you definitely want to make sure they’re still working!

All jokes aside, Gracie’s onto something. Annual hearing tests are one of the easiest ways to catch changes early, often before you even notice them. Hearing loss usually happens gradually, so a quick yearly check can make a big difference.

Altitude Audiology is proud to be a VA Community Care Network (CCN) provider serving the Bulverde/Spring Branch area and surrounding communities.

That means many veterans may be able to receive hearing care and hearing aids locally instead of making the long drive to San Antonio.

Our team can also help guide you through the process of determining eligibility and getting connected with your VA hearing benefits. While the VA authorization must come from the VA side, we are always happy to help point veterans in the right direction and make the process feel less overwhelming.

Today was a special day for us at Altitude Audiology as we delivered our very first Local Listening Award to HealthFirst Primary Care and Dr. Dayani.

We recently asked our patients a simple question: “Who in this community truly listens to you?”

Over and over again, one name kept coming up. Dr. Dayani.

In a world where so many people feel rushed, overlooked, or unheard, taking the time to genuinely listen can change everything. Our patients shared story after story about feeling cared for, respected, and valued at HealthFirst Primary Care, and we could not agree more.
