This one is for my autoimmune girlies 🙋‍♀️ The elimination diet, the supplements, the sleep hygiene, the stress management, you're doing everything right. And still, the flares come.

Every August, same story 🙄 New backpack, new pencils, that first-day-of-school glow, and by week two, your kid is home sick. It’s easy to blame the germs, and sure, that’s part of it. But a nervous system that’s regulated and clear is remarkably good at handling those exposures without your kid getting knocked flat.

Here’s the thing: your immune system takes its cues straight from your nervous system. Back-to-school is one of the biggest nervous system stressors a kid faces all year! Between the new schedule, new faces, and new expectations, so even excited kids are running on overdrive. When the nervous system is clear and connected, the body can handle those things MUCH better, including the germs, without immune function paying the price.

We’ve noticed that families who bring their kids in consistently before school starts tend to have a completely different fall. Let’s start this year from a foundation of strength, not survival mode.
