🐱 Kitty Cats on the House! 🐱

We had the sweetest visit from these adorable sibling kitties, and our residents loved every minute with them! Moments like these bring so much joy, laughter, and comfort to our community.

Pet therapy is one of our favorite activities because it helps our residents open up, smile, and share love again. It also brings back beautiful memories of pets they once had and cherished. ❤️

There’s just something special about the way animals connect with people—soft hearts, warm smiles, and pure happiness all around.

🌭 Better Late Than Never! 🏁

A big shoutout to our amazing Business Office Manager, Jessica, for putting together such a fun and creative event for our residents! We recently enjoyed watching the Wienie 500 Race, and it was a huge hit.

Jessica and her husband went above and beyond by cooking delicious hot dogs, serving cheese, and providing refreshments so everyone could enjoy the race-day experience. Residents even got to pick their own “wienie car” and cheer for the racer they thought would take home the victory!

The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles. Events like these remind us how special our community is and how much our team cares about creating meaningful moments for our residents.

Honoring Our Heroes This Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today, we gathered together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with live music by Billy, delicious cupcakes and cookies, and heartfelt moments of reflection. We took time to share a few words in memory of our fallen heroes and to recognize the sacrifices made so we can live in freedom every day.

We are grateful for those who served with courage and for the families who carry their legacy forward. Today was a beautiful reminder of the importance of community, remembrance, and gratitude. ❤️🤍💙

✨ Resident Spotlight: Ken Duke ✨

We are so happy to shine a light on Ken Duke and celebrate the wonderful presence he brings to our community. Ken was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, where he spent his early years before beginning his college journey. After completing two years at Duke University, his path led him to BYU, then later to the University of Georgia.

In 1968, Ken married his wife, Diane, and they shared 50 beautiful years together. Their life was filled with love, raising four children and welcoming ten grandchildren along the way. 💙

Ken’s career in applied contract research and problem-solving opened the door to incredible experiences. His work took him across the country conducting environmental assessments for new sites and facilities. Along the way, he saw amazing places and gathered many great stories—especially from his travels out West.

Today, you’ll often find Ken chatting with fellow residents, keeping up with his daily walks, or enjoying dessert—especially ice cream or pie. 🍦🥧 We are truly happy to have him with us!

We are so proud to recognize Brooklyn Roberts as our Employee of the Month! For the past two years, Brooklyn has been a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking part of our team, always going above and beyond for both our residents and fellow caregivers.

Born and raised in Spring Hill, Tennessee, Brooklyn recently stepped into her new role as Lead Caregiver, where she helps guide and support our caregiving team with kindness, patience, and leadership. Her love for our residents shines through every day as she works to make them feel comfortable, valued, and truly at home.

Outside of work, Brooklyn enjoys fishing, reading, and anything sweet! She hopes to continue growing in the medical field and dreams of becoming a mom one day. Her biggest motivation is helping others and building a strong, caring community—and we are so thankful to have her on our team. 💙
