In Loving Memory of Dr. James Pizzuto
62 Years of Adventure, Laughter, Friendship, and a Life Well Lived
October 17, 2026
Some people simply live their lives, and others truly embrace every adventure life has to offer. Our dear friend and fellow chiropractor, Dr. James Pizzuto, was most definitely one of those people.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to James, who passed away at the age of 62 from complications related to his health.
James was truly one of a kind. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Ohio and later graduated from Life University with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force as a pilot, taking his adventurous spirit into the skies. Flying was just one of the many ways James experienced the excitement and freedom he loved so much.
And what an adventurous life he lived!
Whether he was parasailing, kite sailing, boating, exploring Arizona, or simply driving around in a convertible with the wind in his hair, James was always looking for his next adventure. He loved trying new things, discovering new places, and making the most out of every opportunity. He had an incredible ability to find fun in just about anything.
James was also a wonderful cook, a devoted caretaker to his mother, and a compassionate chiropractor who genuinely cared about his patients. Behind his adventurous personality was a kind and caring man who took his responsibilities to those he loved very seriously.
For those of us who attended chiropractic school with James, the memories are endless. His quick wit, endless humor, unforgettable personality, and ability to make us laugh will always be cherished. He was the kind of friend who could make an ordinary moment extraordinary, and being around him was never boring.
As his friend and fellow chiropractor, I, Dr. Kylee Moss, will miss James more than words can express. I will miss his humor, his stories, his adventurous spirit, and most of all, the friendship we shared. I know our chiropractic classmates feel the same way. We were fortunate to have shared part of life’s journey with someone who brought so much laughter and personality into our lives.
James reminded us that life is meant to be experienced, that there is always another adventure waiting, and that laughter really is one of life’s greatest gifts.
Although we wish we could have had more time with him, we are grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the laughter he leaves behind.
James, you flew through the skies, sailed across the water, chased adventures, and lived life on your own terms. Now it’s time for one final flight. May the skies be clear, the winds be at your back, and your next adventure be your greatest one yet.
You will be deeply missed by your family, your patients, your chiropractic classmates, and all of us who were lucky enough to call you our friend.
Until we meet again, my friend. Keep flying high.
With love and treasured memories,
Dr. Kylee Moss
