Who says you need to go out to hit the club? We brought the club right to Forest Oaks! 🎶🪩💃

Our lobby got a whole new look as Club Pinnacle took over, with the fantastic DJ Ali bringing the music, the energy and all the party vibes!

What a great time we had! A huge thank you to Ali for doing such an amazing job transforming our lobby into our very own nightclub and keeping the party atmosphere going.

And a very special thank you to Pinnacle for sponsoring this wonderful event! We truly appreciate your generosity and the time and effort that went into making this such a fun experience for our residents.

And the music didn't stop with Rocky! ❤️

After such a special performance for our Rocky, Stan from the legendary group The Flamingos made sure the rest of our Forest Oaks family got to share in the experience too!

What started as one incredibly thoughtful gesture turned into a wonderful musical treat for our whole community.

A huge thank you once again to Stan for so generously sharing his time and talent with us, and to Susan Romeo and Jacob Hunt for helping make it all happen.

One special visit, so many happy hearts, and a whole lot of wonderful memories. 🎶❤️

Sometimes the kindness of the people around us reminds us just how special our community really is. ❤️

For years, Jacob Hunt of Hunt Talent LLC has been sharing his musical talents with our Forest Oaks family. This spring, he teamed up with Susan Romeo from The Wellington to bring Music Mondays to life, and thanks to Jacob's invitation, our folks have been enjoying these wonderful performances once a month ever since.

But what Jacob and Susan have done for our Rocky goes far beyond music.

When they learned that Rocky would no longer be able to make the trips to The Wellington, Susan decided that if Rocky couldn't come to the music, she would bring the music to him.

And that's exactly what happened.

Stan from the legendary group The Flamingos graciously came to Forest Oaks to sing especially for Rocky, giving him a beautiful moment that meant so much to all of us.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jacob, Susan and Stan. Not just for the music and entertainment they've shared with us, but for taking the time to get to know our residents, care about them and make sure that someone like Rocky doesn't miss out simply because he can no longer attend.

How lucky we are to have people like Jacob, Susan and Stan in our lives. Thank you for making Rocky feel so special and for reminding us, once again, what a wonderful world this can be. ❤️

Who doesn't love a good old-fashioned sing-along? 🎶

We had a wonderful time with the High Point Senior Singers, who joined us for an afternoon of music and familiar favorites!

There's something about hearing a song you haven't heard in years that brings back memories — and before you know it, you're singing along and remembering every word!

A big thank you to the High Point Senior Singers for sharing their voices and spending time with us. We loved having you!

“A Wonderful World, Made Even More Beautiful by Kindness”

Sometimes the smallest gestures leave the biggest impression on our hearts.

If you've spent any time at Forest Oaks, chances are you've heard our Rocky singing “What a Wonderful World.” It's his song, and he's shared it with us more times than we can count. He's even made special trips into Memory Care just to sing it for our folks, bringing a little music and happiness into their day.

But this time, it was Rocky's turn to be on the receiving end of that kindness.

When Rocky wasn't able to join us for the High Point Senior Singers' performance, we asked if they would mind going to him and singing his favorite song. Without a moment's hesitation, they said yes.

And just like that, the song Rocky has so lovingly shared with others was sung especially for him.

It was such a simple, beautiful gesture, but one that meant so much. A reminder that the kindness we give to others has a wonderful way of finding its way back to us.

Thank you to the High Point Senior Singers for giving Rocky this special moment, and thank you, Rocky, for all the times you've shared your voice and your heart with Forest Oaks.

A little look back at Monday evening and what a fantastic night of music we had at The Wellington!

Our Forest Oaks group had a wonderful time at Music Monday, where seven different performers took the stage! Headliner Petrina, all the way from England, really got the crowd moving, and another performer had traveled all the way from Egypt. What a lineup!

But the most touching moment of the evening was a special announcement about our very own Rocky. Sadly, Rocky won't be able to make the trips to The Wellington anymore, but that doesn't mean the music has to stop coming to him.

Susan from The Wellington has arranged for Stan from the legendary group The Flamingos to visit Forest Oaks and sing a song especially for Rocky!

What a thoughtful and generous gesture. We're so grateful to Susan for making this happen and reminding us that sometimes the most meaningful moments come from people going that extra mile.

We can't wait to share this special visit with you. Stay tuned!

What a wonderful surprise!

Jorge is usually pretty shy, so seeing him get up and dance with his two nephews was a moment we absolutely loved. Once they got going, the three of them brought so much energy and fun to Forest Oaks — and those smiles said it all!
Jorge’s nephews generously gave their time and entertained us at no charge, and we truly appreciate them coming in and sharing their energy with everyone.
Thank you for such a fun afternoon — and Jorge, we knew you had some moves hiding in there! ❤️

Open mic day at Forest Oaks came with a little extra family flair!
Jorge’s family joined us and helped turn the afternoon into our own little live show. There’s something especially nice about having family come in, share their talents and become part of the fun around here.

A little sunshine, a box of chalk and plenty of creativity!
Annabel took our Memory Care group outside for some chalk art, and they turned the ground into their very own colorful canvas. From bright colors to some seriously beautiful pictures, they certainly put those chalks to good use.
Who needs an art gallery when you can create one right outside the door?

We always love a visit from Caring K9’s at Forest Oaks, but this time Olle decided visiting wasn’t enough — he wanted in on the action!
He joined us for a game of noodle ball and, as you can probably guess, completely stole the show. Apparently being adorable AND athletic is just showing off.
Thank you to Caring K9’s for another visit filled with smiles. Olle, you’re welcome on our team anytime! 🐾
