Raise your hand if you have heard the saying "Sitting is the new smoking"!
That "s" shape of the spine when you look at it from the side does a few things:
Protects Bones and Discs in the Spine by Absorbing Shock
Helps Distribute Weight Evenly
Provides Flexibility Needed to Bend, Stretch, and Twist
Poor posture while sitting, over the course of time, flattens that "S" shape and can cause all kinds of problems.
