. As we get older, it’s normal for balance to change — but that doesn’t mean falls are inevitable. Age-related changes can include:
✔️ Decreased muscle strength
✔️ Slower reaction time
✔️ Reduced joint mobility
✔️ Changes in vision and sensation in the feet

The good news? Balance can be trained at any age. Physical therapy helps improve strength, coordination, and confidence with walking and daily activities — reducing fall risk and helping you stay independent. Check out the video below for exercises that can be done at home.

If you or a loved one has noticed increased unsteadiness, fear of falling, or recent falls, it may be time for a balance check. Staying steady means staying active. 💪
