Insulin resistance stops fat loss! ⁣
Comment "KEY"⁣

Insulin resistance is when your body stops responding well to insulin — the hormone that helps move sugar (glucose) from your blood into your cells for energy.⁣

A simple way to think about it:⁣

* Insulin is the “key”⁣
* Your cells are the “doors”⁣
* Sugar needs to get inside the doors to be used as fuel⁣

With insulin resistance, the locks on the doors become rusty.⁣
The key still works, but not very well.⁣

So your body responds by making MORE insulin to force the sugar into the cells.⁣

Over time this can lead to:⁣

* Weight gain (especially belly fat)⁣
* Fatigue⁣
* Cravings for sugar and carbs⁣
* Difficulty losing weight⁣
* High blood sugar⁣
* Prediabetes or Type 2 Diabetes⁣

One important detail:⁣
High insulin itself can make it harder to burn fat. Your body tends to stay in “fat storage mode” instead of “fat burning mode.”⁣

Common things that improve insulin resistance:⁣

* Losing excess body fat⁣
* Strength training and walking⁣
* Eating more protein and fiber⁣
* Reducing ultra-processed foods and sugar⁣
* Better sleep and stress management⁣
* In some cases, medications or peptides like GLP-🫛s under medical supervision⁣
