Long-term care nursing is more than providing medical care — it’s building relationships, offering comfort, preserving dignity, and becoming family to the residents who call our facility home. Our nurses are there through every milestone, every challenge, and every moment that matters.

Help Us Grow a Garden Full of Joy

Here at Colfax General Long Term Care, our residents take great pride in being part of the Colfax County community. We’re working to create a peaceful, welcoming garden space where they can enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of northern New Mexico.

Gardening offers fresh air, light activity, and meaningful moments that brighten their days. With the support of our local community, we hope to bring this space to life for those who call our facility home.

We are currently seeking donations of:
• Flowers, plants, and seeds suited for our local climate
• Pots, planters, or raised garden beds
• Potting soil and mulch
• Gardening tools and gloves

Every contribution, big or small, will help create a space where our residents can relax, connect, and continue to feel part of the community they love.

✨ Exciting Progress at Colfax General LTC! ✨
We are thrilled to share the updated floor plan for the new Colfax General Long Term Care facility! With Phase 1 of construction nearly complete, we now move into Phase 2—the East Wing. This project has been years in the making, and it’s finally becoming reality.
A heartfelt thank you to:

💙 Through tireless dedication and teamwork, CGLTC has secured $36 million in funding, overcoming every obstacle, and pushing this project forward step by step.
💙 Our supportive community, who chose hope and encouragement over doubt. Your belief in us is the reason we keep moving forward.
This moment proves what truly matters: hard work, integrity, and community spirit will always shine through. It’s also why Colfax General LTC is proud to be a 5-Star facility, recognized as one of the best nursing homes in New Mexico.
Most importantly, everything we do is for our residents. They are the heart of this facility the key factor in every decision, the center of our mission, and truly our world. This new facility isn’t just about growth; it’s about honoring them with the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve.
Colfax General LTC has always been here for this community, and this new facility is about more than bricks and walls, it’s about securing care for our elders, supporting families, and building a stronger future.

🌟 Thank You for Your Generosity! 🌟
We would like to sincerely thank Larry & Zita Lopez and Cody & Jenny Hazen for their generous donation of Farm raised pork to Colfax General LTC.
This kind and thoughtful donation brought so much joy to our home and our residents enjoyed the best breakfast ever this morning, and the smiles said it all. 💛 Moments like these remind us how wonderful it is to have a community that cares so deeply. Thank you again for your generosity.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Town of Springer Field Crew for helping us address the ongoing issues with the ditch near our facility. We want to let everyone know that if you are coming to the Colfax General LTC Lab for services, please use caution when parking in this area.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve had several vehicles accidentally drive into this section and get stuck. Thanks to the Town’s quick response, railroad ties have now been installed as barriers to prevent this from happening again. 🚧
We truly appreciate the teamwork and support to keep our patients, visitors, and staff safe. Please be mindful when parking and help us spread the word!
