We are in awe of our Sleep Lab team!

White Mountain Regional Medical Center is incredibly proud to announce that our Sleep Lab has achieved a Zero Deficiency Accreditation Survey through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC)!

It's harder to do than it sounds. Nearly all organizations surveyed for accreditation are cited for at least one deficiency.

During the survey, ACHC evaluated our Sleep Lab against detailed national standards for quality and patient safety, and our team met every single one, with no corrections needed. This achievement is a true testament to our Sleep Lab team's dedication, expertise, and attention to detail every single day (night).

We have another story for you!

A continuation of the "Growing Our Own" series. This series is a result of realizing that many of our employees have started in entry-level positions and built serious careers right here in our community. We decided the best spotlight would be to tell their stories: The people who put in the work and the culture that supported them.

Today, we are spotlighting Steven Vickers. His journey is a testament to what is possible when relentless purpose meets open doors. He went from volunteer firefighting to becoming a Certified OR Tech assisting right inside our Operating Room.

Today WMRMC honors the extraordinary courage of the first responders who rushed toward danger.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to the veterans throughout the White Mountains who answered the call to serve and protect our nation in the years that followed.
The legacy of 9/11 is a lasting reminder of the strength found in unity. True community health is built on this foundation, when neighbors support, protect, and uplift one another through the darkest of times.
We stand together in quiet remembrance today, privileged to care for the resilient people of this region. We will never forget.

Huge shout out to our IT Crew this morning, Nate and Tim were instrumental in restoring our phones.
After the phone issue was discovered they jumped into action to find the root cause of the issue. Working against the clock to ensure patients could receive the care that they need they isolated the problem. A component had come out of sync with the rest of the network. They put their mad skills to use and shortly after they arrived on scene the phones were back up and running. We are so lucky to have such a competent IT team.
In today's day and age information technology is a vital part of any healthcare operation. Keeping every component in sync, updated and in communication with every other component is a daunting task. Thank you Nate and Tim for helping to keep our information technologies running so our community can keep receiving the care they need.

The 2026 wmrmc health fair has ended. We had an overwhelming community turnout. Our hallways were full and our junior departments we're fully staffed throughout the event!
Huge shout out to our community partners for helping to make this event such a success.
