I admire that Latoya’s clinical approach is grounded and flexible and her clients love that she blends real work experience with somatic techniques.

The internet loves a highlight reel, but growth is rarely that polished.
People usually only post their wins, milestones, and perfect routines, so here are some of the things I am still actively working through behind the scenes.

As the Founder of AWA Counseling Services, I spend my days helping high-achieving women, eldest daughters, and over-functioning moms untangle toxic perfectionism.

But doing this work myself? It is an ongoing practice. I still mess up my boundaries, I still struggle with my capacity, and I still have to actively choose rest over hustle.

Sharing these flops is my way of reminding you that you do not have to have it all together before you start your healing journey. You can show up messy. We welcome it.
