A Grief Gathering is a gentle opportunity for youth ages 5-18 and their families to come together, meet others who understand, and learn a little more about the grief support that Rick's Place and Forastiere Family Funeral Homes can offer.

We'll share pizza, take part in a meaningful memory activity in honor of your loved one, and spend some time connecting with other families. There's no expectation to share or talk about your loss. You and your children can participate in whatever way feels comfortable, and you will remain together throughout the hour.

No matter when the death occurred, you are welcome.

Join us for our monthly Turning Pages, Healing Hearts Book Club on Wednesday, October 28th from 6:30pm - 8:00pm as we discuss "Remarkably Bright Creatures" by Shelby Van Pelt.

The Turning Pages, Healing Hearts Book Club is free, open to the public, and does not require any registration. The book club is held in our Community Room at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA.
