This doula has been busy! Since moving to Arkansas in April, I’ve had 5 postpartum clients and 4 births - and, the first half of my 2026 is already booked! The highlight of my time in NWA so far was taking the famous Spinning Babies workshop to learn about physiological birth.

I’m lucky I get to work with two amazing doula teams ( and ) because I get double the mentorship from some amazing senior level doulas.

The calm after the storm - when the providers have cleared the room, the tables have been rolled out, and you get uninterrupted skin to skin time to bond with the tiny human you just brought Earthside. It was a beautiful and powerful birth to witness, and I’m reminded in these quiet moments of what an honor it is to support people through these life transitions. Happy birthday to my second Leo season baby. I love what I 💙

Here’s me anxiously waiting in an empty labor room for mom and baby to come out of the OR, saying a little prayer to the universe that a c-section was the right call. Sometimes birth doesn’t go as you hope, but that’s why we make a plan A, B, and C so you’re prepared for all possible outcomes. This mama wanted to avoid a c-section, but baby’s heart rate kept dropping after each contraction which was cause for concern. I am so proud of my client for asking for informed consent at every step, and for requesting time to think about and talk through her options. We’re grateful for providers that listen to the birthing person and their needs while also working swiftly to keep everyone healthy and safe. Happy birthday #1 this week, one more stubborn Leo baby to go! 🎉

I am so excited to announce that I now accept Medicaid insurance thanks to The Doula Network! One thing I love is making care accessible, and with this credential I am able to provide birth and postpartum support to folks in my community who need it.
