Do you think there is a connection between autoimmune disease and childhood traumas?

Some believe physical illness is mostly the result of unprocessed emotional trauma. An adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Study from 1995 to 1997 in San Diego, California surveyed over 15,000 people and say they are over 60% more likely to have an autoimmune disease if suffering an Adverse Childhood Experience based on their qualifications.
