🌸💐 Another Special Thank You to Grateful Vase! 💐🌸

A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to the wonderful nonprofit Grateful Vase for always thinking of our James River family and blessing us with the most beautiful flowers! 🌷❤️

Our residents spent the afternoon creating their very own flower arrangements, and it was truly something special to watch. Each arrangement was unique, and seeing the pride, excitement, and joy in their eyes as they created something beautiful was absolutely priceless. 🥰💐

Moments like these are what it’s all about—bringing a little beauty, creativity, and happiness into the day. We are so grateful for organizations like Grateful Vase that help create these unforgettable moments for our residents. ❤️

🎬 A Day at the Movies! 🍿❤️

Any chance we get to get out of our facility and enjoy a little bit of the world, we take it! 😍

We had the pleasure of taking a group of our residents out for a fun movie day to see the new Spider-Man movie! 🕷️🎥

We kicked back in the comfy recliners, enjoyed plenty of popcorn 🍿, and watched a great movie with some pretty great company! There’s just something special about getting out, making memories, and enjoying a little adventure together. ❤️

At James River, we believe the fun doesn’t stop at our front doors! We love creating opportunities for our residents to get out, laugh, explore, and enjoy life to the fullest! 🎬🍿

💙 Celebrating Our Amazing Staff! 💙

At James River, we know that every single employee plays such an important role in making a difference in the lives of our residents each and every day. From the front office to dietary, nursing, housekeeping, activities, therapy, and every department in between—YOU matter, and what you do matters! 🥰

We love taking every opportunity we can to do something special for our incredible staff and remind them just how truly appreciated they are. This week, we treated everyone to a delicious homemade meal featuring pulled pork and all the fixings! 🍖😋

It was a delicious surprise that brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and, of course, some very full bellies! ❤️

To our amazing James River staff: THANK YOU! Thank you for your hard work, compassion, dedication, and for everything you do to make our residents’ lives better every single day. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🫶

🎉🎂 Celebrating Another Trip Around the Sun! 🎂🎉

Today at James River, we celebrated all the wonderful people in our community who are turning a year older! 🥳❤️

It was a day full of cake, smiles, laughter, and lots of love as we celebrated another year of life and all the memories that come with it. We truly believe every day we are given on this earth is something worth celebrating! 🎈✨

A special thank you to Lindsey with Integrity for coming out and helping us pass out all the goodies to our residents. Your kindness and generosity always help make our celebrations even more special. We appreciate all you do for our James River family! 💕🎂

One of our very own James River family members has a son currently deployed, and we want to come together to support him and his platoon while they are away serving our country.

We’re putting together care packages to send overseas, and we would love for our James River family and community to help us fill them with snacks, necessities, encouragement, and a whole lot of love!❤️

PACKING SUPPLIES
• Sandwich-sized Ziploc bags

Every item donated will help us send a little comfort and a reminder that they are loved, appreciated, and supported back home.

Today we celebrate a truly special milestone—60 years of marriage!💕

We are honored to celebrate one of our wonderful residents and her husband with a special anniversary lunch and flowers from our James River family!

Six decades of love, laughter, memories, and togetherness is something truly worth celebrating! We are so grateful to share this beautiful milestone with them!

From now through August 14, we are collecting school supplies to help local students head back to school with the tools they need to succeed.

Every backpack, notebook, pack of pencils, and box of crayons makes a difference. Together, we can help ensure children in our community are prepared for a bright future.
