Day 2 of CNA Week was a wonderful celebration of the incredible caregivers who make such a difference in the lives of our residents each and every day! ❤️

Today, we treated our amazing CNAs to Panda Express as a small token of our appreciation for all they do. Their compassion, dedication, patience, and hard work never go unnoticed.

Boy, did we ever have a great time at our Golden Age Beach Bash this year! 🌴☀️🏖️

We kicked off the day by grilling juicy hot dogs with all the fixings for our amazing staff to let them know just how much they are appreciated. From there, the fun never stopped!

Residents, staff, and families enjoyed a beautiful day in the sunshine filled with laughter, music, and memories. We had a dunk tank, live music by Allie and Grace, snow cones, fresh-squeezed lemonade, a seashell painting contest, beach-themed photos, fresh cotton candy, and so much more!

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who came out to support our residents and join in the fun. We would also like to extend a special thank you to all of our hospice partners and volunteers who helped make this day so special. Your kindness, support, and dedication mean the world to our residents and staff.

Days like these remind us how blessed we are to be surrounded by such a caring community. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Golden Age Beach Bash a day to remember! ❤️Hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Please join us in welcoming our new full-time Nurse Practitioner, Amy, to the James River team!

We are incredibly excited to have her on board and know she will be a tremendous asset to our residents, families, and staff. Working closely with our nursing team and medical providers, Amy will play an important role in helping us continue to deliver the highest quality care and support to those we serve every day.

Her knowledge, compassion, and dedication to resident care makes her a wonderful addition to our team, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact she will have on our facility.

🎣 What a wonderful Friday we had at James River! 🎣

It was the perfect day to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, so we loaded up and headed out for a fishing adventure—and we are sure glad we did! Our residents had a fantastic time catching all kinds of exciting things, including catfish, bass, perch, and even a few turtles.

More than just fishing, it was a day filled with laughter, stories, and reminiscing about some of our favorite memories spent outdoors. Fishing has always been a beloved pastime for many of our residents, and today was the perfect opportunity to enjoy it once again.

Days like these remind us how important it is to continue doing the things we love and making new memories along the way. It was truly a great day on the water! 💙🐟☀️
