Complex carbohydrates come from more whole food sources and are digested more slowly, helping support more stable energy throughout the day.

Examples of complex carbs include:

From May 29 through June 7, prescription production and dispensing services will temporarily pause while our pharmacist is away. During this time, RxAvenue will remain open in a limited support capacity.

Reading food labels is important, but it is not always as straightforward as it seems.

Many ingredients listed on packaging can be difficult to interpret, and some additives may appear under multiple names or in forms that are not immediately recognizable.
This is where tools like the EWG Healthy Living App can be helpful. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Instead of trying to memorize ingredient lists, the app allows you to scan products and quickly see how they are rated based on ingredient safety and overall formulation.

For many patients, this becomes less about restriction and more about awareness and making informed choices over time.
