We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Elyssa Rapier has officially completed her Fellowship MAPS certification! 🎉

Becoming a MAPS Fellow requires an extensive, multi-step training program focused on caring for children with complex medical and neurodevelopmental conditions. Along the last several years, Elyssa completed advanced coursework in immunology, neurology, metabolism, gastrointestinal health and nutrition, and environmental medicine. She also completed clinical training, conference-based education, and one-on-one mentorship with MAPS faculty.

If you know Elyssa, this achievement won't surprise you.

She is deeply committed to her patients and is always looking for new ways to better serve the families who trust her with their children's care. She never stops learning, asking questions, and pursuing education that helps her get to the root cause of complex pediatric health concerns.

We're incredibly proud of all the hard work, time, and dedication that went into earning this certification, and we know the families she serves will continue to benefit from her knowledge, compassion, and commitment to providing individualized, root-cause care.

Congratulations, Elyssa! We can't wait to see the impact you'll continue to make for children and families in our community 💙

Your child's symptoms aren't random; they're connected, and they're happening for a reason.

We look beyond the symptoms and ask why they are happening in the first place. Through functional testing, comprehensive evaluations, and integrative care, we help families uncover root causes and create a plan that supports their child as an individual.

If you're tired of hearing "everything looks normal" while your child continues to struggle, we're here for you 🩺

If you're struggling with bloating, food sensitivities, irregular bowel movements, fatigue, or brain fog, and you've been told it's just part of getting older, keep reading.

A colonoscopy is an incredibly important tool. It helps detect colon cancer, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, and other structural concerns. But a normal colonoscopy doesn't always explain why you're still having digestive symptoms.

That's where functional medicine takes a different approach.

Comprehensive stool testing allows us to evaluate how your gut is functioning. We can assess your gut microbiome, digestive capacity, inflammation, yeast overgrowth, parasites, and bacteria such as H. pylori—all of which can contribute to symptoms like bloating, constipation, diarrhea, food sensitivities, and even fatigue or brain fog.

Gastroenterology plays a vital role in ruling out serious disease. Our goal is to go a step further by identifying underlying imbalances that may be contributing to your symptoms so we can create a personalized plan to help restore gut health.

You don't have to settle for feeling miserable just because your tests came back "normal."

Women waking up at 2am every night and being told it’s just part of getting older.

Women gaining weight despite eating the same way they’ve always eaten.

Women struggling with brain fog, anxiety, low libido, hot flashes, mood swings, and exhaustion while trying to keep up with careers, families, aging parents, and everything else on their plates.

Women being told their labs are “normal” while feeling anything but normal.

Women being scared of hormone replacement therapy because of headlines that don’t reflect what we know today.

Perimenopause and menopause are natural transitions, but that doesn’t mean you have to white-knuckle your way through them.

Biodentical Hormone Replacement Therapy helps women in perimenopause get better sleep, a clearer mind, more energy, improved muscle mass and bone health, a healthier metabolism, and a better quality of life.

You deserve answers, options, and a provider who will take your symptoms seriously.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish, it’s healthcare.

Prediabetes and type 2 diabetes are becoming more common, and at younger ages than ever before.

It’s not hard to see why. We’re surrounded by ultra-processed foods, oversized portions, chronic stress, poor sleep, and increasingly sedentary lifestyles. Our environment often makes the unhealthy choice the easy choice.

That’s why we encourage patients to check their A1C early, not just after a diabetes diagnosis.

Your A1C gives us a snapshot of how your body has been managing blood sugar over the past 2–3 months. It can identify early signs of blood sugar dysregulation years before diabetes develops, giving you the opportunity to make meaningful changes while there’s still time to reverse the course.

Don’t wait until you’re 50.
Don’t wait until you’ve been diagnosed.
Don’t wait until complications begin.

Know your numbers in your 20s, 30s, and beyond.

The decisions you make today, how you eat, move, sleep, and manage stress all can have a lasting impact on your metabolic health for years to come.

Early awareness leads to earlier action, and that’s one of the most powerful tools we have for preventing chronic disease.

Want your kids to be more interested in what’s for dinner?

Get them involved before it ever reaches the table.

Research shows that children are more likely to try foods they’ve helped choose, prepare, and cook. But the benefits go far beyond helping with picky eating.

Time in the kitchen teaches life skills, builds confidence, encourages teamwork, and creates opportunities to connect as a family. It gives kids a chance to contribute, take responsibility, and care for the people around them in a meaningful way.

Join us on July 11th - 10am at for Kids in the Kitchen: From Picky to Participating, where we’ll share practical ways to get kids involved in meal planning, food preparation, and cooking, without creating more work for you.

We’ll see you there!
