Painting A Bowl of Light

Janet Sgro MAATC, ATR-P of Rx Art Therapy, Inc. is a founding member and past president of the Pharmacy Gallery and Art Space.  Janet earned a bachelors degree in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and masters degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.  Janet owns and operates Rx Art Therapy, Inc., which is located on the second floor of the Pharmacy Gallery and Art Space, and has been a professional artist and curator for over 25 years.

Janet will hold a workshop entitled “Painting A Bowl of Light” at the Pharmacy Gallery and Art Space (623 E. Adams St.) from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026.  The $50 suggested donation covers the cost of participation and materials.  During the workshop, participants will paint a bisque-fired ceramic bowl of their choosing to take home.
