Some recognition makes you pause.

I’ve been selected to receive the North Central ACES Award for Outstanding Professional Service, recognizing my work in the counseling field.

So much of what we do in this profession happens behind the scenes, in the conversations, the collaboration, the advocacy, the mentoring, and the work to make our profession stronger for the people who come after us.

This work is about contributing to a field that matters deeply to me and finding ways to make a difference beyond the “walls” of my own office or classroom.

To have that work recognized in this way is humbling. It’s a meaningful reminder of the value of showing up, continuing to contribute, and investing in something bigger than ourselves.

I’m honored to be recognized by (North Central ACES) and to be part of a profession with so many people who continue to move our field forward. 🥰 My sincerest Thank you.
