Aveanna Hospice Nurse Lakeisha is a true hero for the patients she serves and for their loved ones.

When little Emmy saw an unfamiliar face at her grandparents' house, she was shy at first. But as Nurse Keisha began unpacking her supplies and chatting warmly with Emmy, something magical happened. Emmy spotted a familiar gadget. She ran to her playroom and returned with her own medical bag, digging deep for her toy stethoscope!

Keisha took the time to explain to Emmy everything she was doing during her visit, including what the stethoscope did and why it mattered. As Emmy's grandfather shared, "Keisha has treated my dad and our family with a compassion that feels like family. She is a real-life hero for Emmy."

Damian has many years of experience serving families through ministry and spiritual care. His genuine compassion for our patients and families makes him a perfect match for our Springfield team!
