Our Spring Valley residents had a fantastic day at the YMCA, joining 14 other area facilities for the Missouri Health Care Association’s Golden Age Games!

Although we didn't bring home the traveling Spirit Award cup this year, we proudly earned 3rd place for points and spirit! 🏆

Our residents showed off their talents in everything from hog calling and co****le to soccer kicks, cow milking, Quiz Bowl, Bingo, wheelchair races, and handmade crafts! A special congratulations to Donna, who took 1st place for her beautiful yarn work! 🥇 Several other residents also brought home medals!

Our theme was “We’re Rocking at Spring Valley,” and that's exactly what we did! 🎶

Congratulations to all our residents for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and incredible spirit. We couldn't be prouder!

Our Spring Valley Bake Sale was a hit! Residents and staff enjoyed shopping for delicious homemade goodies, including cookies, cinnamon rolls, cakes, and more. A huge thank you to everyone who donated treats and helped make the event a success!

We also held a Homemade Cheesecake Raffle. Congratulations to our lucky winner, Teresa! 🎉

Best of all, funds raised from our fundraisers help make Christmas extra special for our residents. 🎄❤️ Thank you to everyone who continues to support our residents!

Congratulations to our lucky lunch drawing winner! Jennifer is the latest winner of the famous Hardee’s prize. All residents are welcome to join us for dining room meals daily for a chance to be our next lucky winner!

Happy Environmental Services Week! We hosted a facility cookout for all the staff on Wednesday, and on Thursday Tami and Tina hosted a Taco Bar.

We had the most fun playing "Where Is Waldo?" Environmental Services staff searched high and low each day to find him and claim their prizes. Thank you for all you do!

Spring Valley celebrated our Environmental Services Department! Our team was presented with appreciation bags and Tina, Tami, Tamara, and Terri hosted breakfast for the team to enjoy on the patio. They had homemade cinnamon rolls from Katrina. Be sure to check back for more highlights from our week!!!

Spring Valley recognized our Therapy department this week with a surprise Potluck Lunch from all the department supervisors.

Residents and staff truly appreciate how they go the extra mile for our residents to regain mobility, maintain quality of life, and be as active as possible during their stay at Spring Valley. Thank you all!
