Supporting someone at home means more than providing a place to live.

It means being there for the everyday moments—preparing meals together, managing a household, keeping appointments, learning new skills, solving problems, and celebrating personal achievements along the way.

Our residential staff don't take over. They provide the right level of support so each person can make choices, grow in independence, and feel at home in a space that's truly their own.

Did you know ABA isn’t just about reducing challenging behaviors? It’s also about building meaningful life skills. 🌱

Today we worked on something many people do every day without thinking—watering plants.

Watering plants isn’t just pouring water. It involves:
💧 Following a sequence of steps
💧 Using household tools safely
💧 Gross and fine motor coordination
💧 Problem-solving
💧 Attention to detail
💧 Planning and organization

By practicing everyday tasks like this, individuals gain skills that can be generalized across many aspects of daily life, helping them become more independent over time.

While reducing challenging behaviors can be an important part of therapy, an equally important goal is helping individuals develop the everyday skills they need to thrive at home, in school, at work, and in their communities.
Every new skill learned, no matter how small it may seem, builds confidence and opens the door to greater independence. That’s what ABA is all about.

💙 What Support Really Looks Like is coming this August! 💙

Each Monday in August, we'll highlight a different area of our services and explain how our team supports individuals in reaching their goals, building independence, and participating in their communities.

Whether it's Residential Services, Day Services, Employment Support, Day Program, or ABA Services, each post will help answer an important question:

What does support really look like?

Join us every Monday throughout August as we share how person-centered support makes a difference every day.

Fresh air, great company, and a little movement—it doesn't get much better than that! ☀️💙

Our group enjoyed a walk together near the office, taking time to enjoy the day, connect with one another, and get outside.

Attending the Journey Final Frontier Tour was more than just a concert for Jason—it was a chance to experience one of his favorite bands live, celebrate his love of music, and enjoy an unforgettable evening in the community. 🎶 Moments like these help foster confidence, independence, and the freedom to participate in the activities that matter most to each individual. 🎸

We love seeing Jason experience the moments that matter most to him!
