Hello facebook followers, It’s been over a month since retirement kicked in and want to thank those who came in to wish me well at my retirement reception.

I still enjoy coming in a few times a week as I am now the head groundskeeper for the office. I think I’m adjusting to retirement better than I thought. Keeping busy around the house and yard. My golf game has definitely improved. My favorite day now is Sunday since I don’t have worry about the “dreaded Monday”.

Soon, my wife and I will take a 2 week trip out west exploring the beauty and majesty of the national parks. I’ve also enjoyed seeing many of you at church, the KC’s and around town.

I hope everyone has been pleased with your continued care at Central Illinois Hearing. Dr Edmonds and Wright along with Marcella are dedicated to providing the same level of care you have come to expect.

No needles, no pain—just answers. ✅

If you’ve been "faking it" in conversations or turning up the TV volume, it might be time for a hearing test. But don’t worry—it’s one of the easiest appointments you’ll ever have!

A standard hearing test is simply a series of "listening games" that help us determine how your brain and ears are working together. From a quick physical look at your ear canal to listening for tones in our comfortable sound booth, we make the process easy and stress-free.

👇 Check out our latest blog for a step-by-step guide on how it works:

Your hearing does more than help you communicate — it helps keep you safe.

🚗 The sound of a car approaching
⏲️ A timer going off
🗣️ Someone calling your name

Are you hearing the everyday cues that support your independence?

Schedule a hearing evaluation and stay confident in every moment.

Did you know that your blood sugar levels do more than just affect your energy?
They play a critical role in your hearing health, too! 👂✨

Our blog post dives deep into the connection between glucose, hearing loss, and tinnitus. High blood sugar can damage the delicate blood vessels and nerves in your inner ear, while sudden drops can disrupt how sound signals reach your brain.

If you or a loved one are managing diabetes, regular hearing screenings should be part of your routine healthcare.
