Beyond Healing Center provides healing retreats for individuals and groups. We also provide training for therapists to become EMDR practitioners. Beyond the initial EMDR trainings we also create and give advanced workshops. Beyond Healing Center produces a podcast called Notice That for EMDR Therapists which can be found on iTunes, Spotify and from the website emdr-podcast.com.

EMDR trained and wondering what's next? If EMDRIA Certification is on your list, Rachel Cagle, MS, LPC, NCC, is leading a small consultation cohort to walk you through the requirements. She's an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, so the body and nervous system stay part of every case conversation. The cohort is capped at three clinicians, which means your cases get real attention and you build connection with peers along the way.

This group starts October 9 and meet every other Friday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. CT.

📣 Calling all interns and PLPCs in the 417 area!

Ever sat across from a client and wondered if you really belong in that chair? You're not alone. Our counselors in training are leading Nurturing Imposter Syndrome, a six-week closed process group where you can explore those fears with peers who get it, reflect on why you chose this field, and talk openly about the challenges that show up at work.

We will meet in person at Beyond Healing Center in Springfield on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., October 9 through November 13. The cost is $15 per session.

There's something so powerful about looking at old childhood photos of the people who now do this work.

None of these kids had any idea what life would hold, or the people they'd become. But somewhere in there, the seeds were already planted — the noticing, the softness, the steadiness that makes them so good at what they do now.

This is who sits with you in the hardest hour of your week. This is who remembers the thing you said three sessions ago. This is who tells you the truth even when it's not what you wanted to hear, and celebrates the win you almost didn't mention.

Different stories, different paths to get here — but the same heart for the work.

We think their younger selves would be really proud❤️
