Do you know these books? Bowlby’s 3rd volume…it was a big inspiration to Dr. crittenden in developing her DMM. If you know attachments, you know of Ainsworth’s “Patterns of Attachment”, it tell us about attachment in its infancy. The next 2 books put us in the world of the truest model of attachment we have, a model co-signed by Mary Ainsworth herself, the DMM developed primarily by Dr. Patricia Crittenden. The green book, “Danger, development, and Adaptation” is a place many, many (it’s a thick book;) of her papers can be found. The bottom book is by Clark Baim, a therapist who is an expert in the DMM-AAI coding method. His book is like the AAI for dummies. These books are not necessarily easy reads but they have soooo much info abt the history of attachment and the DMM.
