Birth is not a battleground to be fought; it is holy ground where God works. It is a profound blessing and a transformative journey, offering women one of the closest, most deeply spiritual encounters with the Creator as He brings forth new life through us!

When we surrender to His design, birth becomes a beautiful testament to His grace, strength, and miraculous power moving through our bodies.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear whispers that you aren't capable, that your body doesn't know what to do, or that you need to be in a hospital to be "safe." But faith reminds us that God knit you together, and He designed your body with the profound wisdom to bring life into this world!

It is time to dismantle the myth that a hospital is inherently "safer" for every birth. For the vast majority of healthy, low-risk women, homebirth is a safe and evidence-based choice—often proving even SAFER by avoiding the cascade of unnecessary interventions that can complicate a healthy physiological process.

Midwives are highly skilled, capable, and well-equipped. They don’t just "watch" birth; they are trained medical professionals who carry the tools, the knowledge, and the experience to handle various scenarios with patience and expertise.

When we make decisions rooted in the peace of God—rather than the "what-ifs" of the world—we step into the fullness of the experience He intended for us! And maybe that does include a hospital birth! But if you feel the tug to explore homebirth, tune into that!

Trusting your baby's timing can completely transform your birth experience!

👉🏻While medical interventions may be necessary and even lifesaving in certain situations, routine inductions for convenience or late-pregnancy discomfort are incredibly TOO common today. Opting for an induction—especially if your goal is a low-intervention birth—can completely hijack the natural process, leading to a cascade of interventions and increased risks for both you and your baby, during and AFTER delivery (fun fact: pitocin use in labor can significantly increasePPD/PPA)!

When healthy and safe, letting your baby choose their own birthday allows your body's hormones to work exactly as they were designed to! 🤍

If you are hoping for a physiologic, low-intervention birth, patience is often your greatest ally. 😉
