Nature never demands our attention — but when we slow down long enough to notice, there is so much beauty, learning, and growth waiting around us. 🌿✨
A tiny bug on a leaf. The way flowers open and close. The changing colors of the seasons. These moments naturally spark curiosity in children:
“Why do plants do that?”
“Where do the animals go?”
“Why do bugs change during different seasons?”
Curiosity is where connection and learning begin. 🤎
At Roots Therapy Solutions, we love incorporating nature into our therapy practice because the outdoors creates endless opportunities for movement, regulation, exploration, imagination, and meaningful connection. It reminds us of the intentional rhythms woven into creation and reflects our faith in God as Creator — One who designed children with a natural desire to explore, wonder, and connect with the world around them.
Sometimes the greatest learning happens when we simply pause and notice. Your challenge this week is to pause and notice one thing (or many!) come back and share what you noticed!!
