NEON Night 5K Run/Walk is right around the corner, and we need an amazing crew of volunteers to help us make this year’s event shine! ✨

Our **NEON Night 5K** is more than just a race. It’s an evening dedicated to **su***de awareness, prevention, hope, and connection**, and every volunteer helps us create a safe, welcoming, and meaningful experience for our community.

We have volunteer opportunities throughout the evening, including:

✨ THE KIDS MARKET IS RETURNING TO NEON NIGHT! ✨

We’re so excited to announce that the Children’s Market will be back at NEON Night this year! 🛍️💡

As you make your way through NEON Night, be sure to stop by and support some of our youngest entrepreneurs! These creative kiddos will be putting their skills to work by selling things they’ve made themselves, running their own booths, interacting with customers, and getting a taste of what it’s like to be a business owner. 💪✨

The Kids Market is all about building confidence, creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment. And with hundreds of NEON Night participants there to cheer them on and shop their creations, they’re in for a pretty awesome night!

So when you see the colorful booths and some very proud young business owners, STOP. SHOP. AND CHEER THEM ON! 🌈🛒

🧠💙 Mental Health Rest Up Week is here!

Our team at NAMI Southwest Missouri will be taking a much-needed Mental Health Week of Care as part of our StigmaFree Company Initiative.

Our doors will be closed August 10–16 so our team can step away, recharge, and prioritize our own mental health. We’ll be back and ready to serve our community on Monday, August 17!

Taking care of others starts with taking care of ourselves. Rest isn’t something we have to earn, and prioritizing our mental health isn’t selfish. We all deserve time to pause, breathe, and reset. 💙
