What a beautiful day on the water yesterday! 🎣 Our residents had a wonderful time out on the boat, enjoying the fresh air, great company, and peaceful scenery. While the fish weren't biting today, the laughter, smiles, and memories made it a successful trip! 💙🐟

Thank you to our amazing summer youth volunteers for sharing your time, kindness, and energy with our residents this summer! We loved celebrating all of your hard work with a fun pizza party. 🍕❤️
A special thank you to Springfield Floral for generously donating the beautiful snapdragon flowers. Our residents and volunteers had a wonderful time creating floral arrangements together, making memories and sharing plenty of smiles along the way. 💐

Help us bring the charm of a hometown farmers market to our residents!

We’re looking for donations locally made items to create a special Farmers Market experience right here at our care center.

We’re accepting donations of items such as:
🍯 Honey
🍓 Homemade jams & jellies
🥒 Canned Pickles
🧼 Handmade soaps
🍎 Purchased Fresh Fruit (closer to the event date)
🍉 Canned Fruits
🍪 Store bought baked goods
(closer to event date)

Please have all items dropped off by September 23rd. Our event will take place on the 24th!

Your generosity will help create a fun, meaningful event filled with memories and community spirit. If you’d like to donate or have questions, please contact our Therapeutic Recreation Department or drop off donations at our front office.

Yesterday was a wonderful day for St. John's as we celebrated 125 years of caring and community. Seeing the evolution of care since 1901 on display was simply incredible.

"Blessed" is the only word that truly comes to mind when I think about yesterday. St. John's has been blessed with outstanding staff, blessed with wonderful residents and family's, blessed with community support, and blessed with leadership who had a vision for stewarding and growing this outstanding organization to care for our community.

Thank you to the greater community, former and current employees, and all the Friends of St. John's for celebrating with us. A special thank you to our Board Members, Foundation Board Members, Leadership Team, and Auxiliary who volunteered and helped make the day possible.
