We had a wonderful evening at the annual Fall for Chilton celebration at Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell, supporting Atlantic Health’s Chilton Medical Center and recognizing the outstanding individuals who make a difference in our healthcare community.

Congratulations to Dr. Liviu Rappaport, Physician Honoree, and Ginell Walker-Way, CNO, recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award for Chilton Medical Center! Both exemplify dedication and excellence in patient care.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a special evening celebrating our healthcare community and supporting the creation of a Patient and Family Caregivers Center at Chilton.

A special thank you to Sara Kiernan, APN of AMG Oncology & Hematology at Freehold for serving as a panelist at CentraState’s annual Ambulatory Nursing Symposium, Leading Beyond the Bedside, held on October 15th!

Sara shared her knowledge, professional experience, and leadership journey, offering valuable insights and inspiration to fellow nursing professionals. Her participation highlighted the many pathways to professional growth and leadership in ambulatory care.

We would also like to recognize Kelly Guerrette, MSN, Chair of the Ambulatory Care Committee at CentraState, and the committee for organizing this valuable educational event and creating an opportunity for nurses to learn from one another’s experiences.

Taking care of your breast health starts with staying up to date on recommended screenings. Mammograms play an important role in detecting changes early, often before symptoms appear.

If you’re 40 or older and it’s time for your routine screening, consider scheduling your mammogram and making your health a priority this month.
