Su***de prevention can start with one conversation.

If you’re worried about someone, trust your instincts. Ask directly, listen without judgment, stay connected, help keep them safe, and connect them to support. You do not have to have all the answers to make a difference.

At Perimeter Healthcare, we believe support, compassion, and timely care matter. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 for immediate support. If there is immediate danger, call 911.

September is Su***de Prevention Month — a time to raise awareness, encourage open conversations, and remind people that they are not alone.

A simple check-in, a listening ear, or a moment of support can make a meaningful difference for someone who is struggling. If you are worried about a loved one, trust that concern and reach out.

Help and hope are available. At Perimeter Healthcare, we’re here to support individuals and families with compassionate behavioral healthcare.

If you or someone you know is in immediate crisis, call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Depression does not always look like sadness.

For children, teens, and adults, depression may show up as withdrawal, irritability, changes in sleep or appetite, loss of interest, low energy, trouble concentrating, or difficulty keeping up with everyday responsibilities.

If you or someone you love seems different, it may be time to check in. Support is available, and no one has to navigate depression alone. Reach out to us at https://www.perimeterhealthcare.com for more information.

🐍🎨 These snakes are ready to slither into your feed! 🐍

Our patients had fun in Recreational Therapy making colorful chain-link snakes! This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, patience, and focus while giving the children a positive way to express themselves and enjoy time together. They enjoyed sharing their snakes with others giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Recreational Therapy supports mental health and emotional well-being by helping children build confidence, practice coping skills, strengthen social connections, and experience the benefits of creativity and play in a supportive environment. Activities like this can provide a sense of accomplishment and remind us that small moments of fun and connection can make a meaningful difference.

We think these little snakes turned out pretty s-s-s-spectacular! 🐍✨

Now it’s your turn! 👇
If you could name one of these snakes, what would you call it? Drop your most creative snake name in the comments! 🐍💬

Summer can be a time of rest and connection, but it can also bring unexpected sadness, stress, isolation, or changes in routine.

For both teens and adults, a lack of structure, social disconnection, or seasonal changes can impact emotional wellness. If you or someone you care about seems withdrawn, overwhelmed, or not quite like themselves, it may be time to check in.

Support is available, and you do not have to navigate it alone.
