After a proud career teaching choral students, Ms. Elena enjoyed a very special outing to hear the Fairfax City Band and Choral Society perform in honor of America’s 250th. With perfect weather, beautiful music, and family by her side, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate her passions and create another meaningful memory together. ❤️

Our Taste of RUI team put together this gouda-looking charcuterie board in honor of National Cheese Day, and it was almost too pretty to eat… almost! From savory bites to perfectly paired cheeses, our residents enjoyed a delicious spread crafted with care and creativity.

Our Casino Night “Senior” Prom was a winning hand all around! 🎲✨

A huge thank you to Sing for Smiles for hosting such a fun and memorable evening for our residents. From casino games and music to the beautiful decorations and prom-night energy, our residents had an absolute blast!

We are especially impressed that Sing for Smiles is completely student-led. Their creativity, kindness, and hard work truly shined, and we are so grateful for the joy they brought to our community. 💙

Leading up to our Red, White, and You Memorial Day Luncheon, our team had the pleasure of personally visiting local healthcare professionals, community connections, and friends with customized blooming charcuterie pots and invitations to join us for this special celebration.

From thoughtful outreach to a beautiful luncheon shared with residents, families, and guests, this event was a wonderful reminder that senior living is about more than care - it's about community, relationships, and creating moments that bring people together.

In honor of National Nurses Week, Aarondale was honored to show appreciation to the incredible nurses and healthcare teams in our community. 💙

We hosted coffee carts at several neighboring rehab communities, including August Healthcare at Leewood, Vierra Falls Church, and Burke Health & Rehabilitation Center, as a small thank you for the compassion, dedication, and care they provide every day.☕

Thank you to all the nurses for all that you do - you are truly appreciated! 💐

Spring was in full bloom during our latest Watercolor for Beginners class with Marni! 🌸🎨

Residents brushed up on their skills while recreating some of their favorite flowers, using the season’s colors as inspiration. From soft petals to bright blooms, creativity blossomed all around the room!

A beautiful reminder that with a little paint, a little patience, and a lot of imagination, art can truly grow anywhere. 🌼🖌️
