Springhouse Village is a senior living community in the Springfield, MO area. This provides a place where friends and family gather to enjoy life.

Springhouse Village has grown from a rich tradition in Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care into a heartfelt passion for our residents. Our retirement community reflects the values we have held for over 50 years – that caring for our residents is a privilege and the right thing to do. Designed to feel like home, Springhouse Village offers a gracious lifestyle where aging adults can pursue their passions and remain active and be confident that their health, happiness, and safety are our top priority. We feel a kinship with our residents and foster that spirit of kinship in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

A big thank-you to the students from Springfield Catholic High School who recently helped our Independent Living residents with their tech questions! Their patience and kindness made it a wonderful experience for everyone. What a wealth of knowledge!! One of my residents came by afterwards and said "those kids were so special!"

Our Dietary team, our Culinary Director Kelly, and our Chef Jim, with the creation of one of our olive recipes as part of the BALANCE program. The team enjoyed the creation of the new recipes throughout the month for tasting purposes, and the residents loved being included in this process!

Although our Balance Program is introducing super foods and healthier menu items to our residents, it also encourages resident engagement, creates new experiences, and encourages residents to try something new! Pictured is our Dietary team, providing a demonstration for our residents, and resident olive oil tasting in both Assisted-Living and Memory Care! It has been a fun initiative for our residents to experience!

We had fun with a good old-fashioned Cake Walk to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer's! We had several of our team members who donated food items, as well as money for this wonderful charity. We like to do our part every year to assist with this event!! The WTEA cake was donated by Noelia, a small business baker! Thanks to all who contributed and purchased the tasty items!! 💜✨💜

Discovery Senior Living recently introduced their Balanced program, to encourage healthy eating for seniors! Kelly, our Culinary Director, introduced the program to our residents; Jim, our executive chef, provided a bruschetta that includes olives for our residents at Happy Hour; and Cindy, our Celebrations Director, and Kelly provided an olive oil tasting session. We have enjoyed introducing the super food for October, olives! 🫒 ❤️

Our Independent Living Villa residents gathered for a delightful fall Harvest Brunch! 🍂 Leah and Geneva, our IL concierges, prepared a wonderful spread, with Lindsey from Integrity there to lend a hand. The beautiful fall bunting was crafted by one of our IL residents, Kay!

What’s your favorite way to celebrate the season? 🧡🍁🤎🍂

A great way to beat the dog days of summer is to play golf inside! One of the many active celebration activities, golf is a good way to keep fit and play a game you love! Our Bistro in our Assisted Living community is a roomy area to play the game! ⛳️ ❤️
