🎡 Step Right Up! It’s County Fair Week! 🎡
We’ve been celebrating all week long with a good old-fashioned county fair theme! From delicious treats to friendly competition, our residents have been enjoying all the fun and nostalgia that comes with fair week. ❤️
We kicked things off with fair-style funnel cakes—because no county fair is complete without that sweet, powdered-sugar goodness! 🍰
The next day, we held an Old-Fashioned Pie Auction! 🥧 Residents had a blast bidding against one another for a tasty slice of their favorite pie. There was plenty of laughter, excitement, and some serious pie bidding going on! 😄
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Care 360 Hospice for generously donating the delicious pies for our auction! 🥧 Your kindness helped make this event such a sweet success. We’d also like to give a special thank-you to Heather with Care 360, who came out to lend a hand and join in on the fun. We are so grateful for your continued support and the wonderful memories you help us create for our residents! ❤️

There’s just something special about a homemade meal prepared with love! ❤️
Our residents thoroughly enjoy those evenings when our Executive Director takes over the kitchen and prepares one of their favorite dishes. They often make special requests—and tonight, she delivered!
Our residents were treated to a comforting, homemade dinner of chicken and noodles, creamy mashed potatoes, creamed peas, and a scrumptious apple cobbler for dessert. 🍗🥔🍎
Nothing says “home cooking” quite like a meal made with love! Our residents certainly enjoyed every delicious bite. ❤️

Springfield Assisted Living is inviting assisted living and skilled nursing communities from across the area to join us for our Second Annual Senior Summer Olympic Games on August 20–21, 2026!

Get ready for two days of outrageous fun, spirited competition, and unforgettable memories. Teams are welcome to compete on one or both days, so join us for the events that work best for your community.

Forget world records—this is all about making memories, sharing laughs, building friendships, and celebrating the incredible spirit of our seniors.

If you think your residents have that Gold Medal spirit, we'd love to have you join the games! Contact our Executive Director or Activities Director to reserve your team's spot.

Bring your biggest fans, too! We encourage family members, staff, volunteers, and spectators to come cheer your team on to victory and enjoy the excitement throughout the games.

On Friday afternoon, we'll take a break from the competition for our Gold Medal Snack Attack featuring hot dogs, chips, refreshing drinks, and snow cones for all participating teams and guests. It's the perfect time to relax, refuel, and swap stories before the competition resumes!
