Sometimes I forget how much I do until someone points it out and I’m like oh yea! I do that! 😂

Neck tension is no joke, I suffer from it most of my clients suffer from it.
And let’s be honest if your neck is hurting then EVERYTHING is hurting!

Fun fact! Did you know most of your tension headaches come from tight muscles in your neck, head, AND your jaw?! It’s crazy how everything is connected!

If you made it this far then don’t wait for the pain to become unbearable before getting help.

Working on the feet is so important because of everything we put them through. They’re literally holding all of your body weight all day every day.

Most people avoid the feet for many reasons.

Most of the time I get clients that don’t like their feet to be touched or they’re too ticklish; which is understandable.

Other times it can be because the therapist doesn’t want to touch feet, again understandable.

But there are other options to help get some relief for people like this.

These include golf ball rolls or epsom feet soak. Both can help but most of the time don’t give you the same relief as a massage would.

How does massage help the feet?

Massage can help improve or prevent injuries and minor issues like plantar fasciitis by increasing blood flow, flexibility/mobility, and obviously the tensions release.

• The increased blood flow helps by bringing fresh oxygen to the system and removing waste(lactic acid) which helps reduce inflammation.
This process is so important because this is where muscle recovery begins.

• The increased flexibility helps by keeping surrounding muscles relaxed/loose so that there isn’t constant pulling/cramps.

• The tension release ties all of these together because tension causes less blood flow, which leads to stiffness and reduced movement which then causes more problems along the way.

Shayna came to me about year ago with a lot of tension and pain in her shoulder and neck from a traumatic accident she had in her 20s.

She struggled finding a massage therapist that wasn’t afraid of digging in and working the stubborn knots and adhesions out.

She’s been with me ever since.

So if you struggle with pain and tension that just won’t go away; come book a session with me and I will do my best to give you the relief you deserve 🤍
