Thank you so much Ashville, Springville, Margaret, Odenville and Moody Elementary summer camps for having me!! These students are so smart, curious and had some excellent questions about bees 🐝

A super easy to grow and very medicinal herb is Mullein. It does very well here in the South (if you keep an eye out you’ll see it everywhere) and will literally thrive in a gravel parking lot. I have multiple plants here on my farm.

Mullein leaves are traditionally used as an amazing lung/respiratory support herb. However, when it blooms, the yellow flowers can be infused into oil to make a great support for earaches. Mullein generally blooms every other year and it looks like I have a couple blooming this year!! I’ll be making some herbal earache medicine for sure!!
