We had such a great time at our annual Home Care training this week!
We spent the day knocking out our annual education sessions, which included some team skits. They were absolutely hilarious, but they also did a wonderful job of bringing our real-world training scenarios to life and keeping things focused on our patients.
A huge thank you to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for letting us use your fellowship hall. Having such a welcoming space made the day extra special, and we are so incredibly grateful for your kindness and support.
To our amazing Home Care team: thank you for everything you do. You bring so much heart, skill, and dedication to our patients every single day, and we feel so lucky that you’ve chosen to be part of the Hospice and Home Care of the Blue Ridge family. 💛

Sometimes the best way to tell the story of hospice is to simply listen to the people who allow us into their lives. 💙💛

Recently, we took some time to read through comments from our patients and families. While they shared their thoughts about the care they received, what stood out most was something much bigger — how our team made them feel.

Behind every survey is a person. Someone’s mother, father, husband, wife, grandparent or friend — and a family trusting us to walk beside them during one of life’s most meaningful seasons.

That is a privilege we never take for granted.

Hospice isn’t only about what we do. It’s about helping people feel heard, respected, comfortable, safe and cared for.

To every patient and family who has trusted Hospice and Home Care of the Blue Ridge with a piece of your story: thank you.

Your words remind our staff that the little things they do every day aren’t little at all.
