A big thank you to the volunteers from Enterprise Bank & Trust for rolling up their sleeves and helping with a home project at Emmaus! Their team tackled a major cleanout, removing 15 years' worth of accumulated items and filling a trailer for disposal. Community partnerships like this make a meaningful difference, helping create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming home for the people we support. We're grateful for their generosity, hard work, and commitment to our mission.

Adaptive Solutions has a lot to celebrate from its first year.

In FY26, the team completed 75 projects, helping 70 families create safer, more accessible spaces at home.

Behind every ramp, lift, shower, or home modification is a person gaining more independence in their daily life. That is the real impact of this work.

Exploring the Library, One Book at a Time

Emmaus staff recently went with several clients on an enjoyable trip to the local library, where they spent the afternoon reading, exploring, and discovering new books. While it is always fun to get into the community, reading also offers an opportunity to visit new places and enjoy new adventures through stories. The outing was a wonderful opportunity for learning, imagination, and meaningful time together.

Game Day Dreams Come True

It is fall, which means football season is in full swing, and one Emmaus client recently had the chance to experience it in an unforgettable way. A lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan, he traveled to Kansas City to attend his very first NFL game, where he watched the Chiefs defeat the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, received a commemorative first-game certificate, collected souvenirs, and even met a couple of cheerleaders. To top it all off, he witnessed the incredible sight and sound of a stealth bomber flyover after the national anthem, making it a game day he will always remember.
