Jill Lee has always been driven by curiosity and a desire to better understand people. After years of building a career in research, product, and marketing, she set out to find a business opportunity where she could pair her professional experience with meaningful community impact.

The search became personal after her family was unable to fulfill her mother's wish to age in place. "I wanted to make sure other families had the opportunity that we didn't," Jill shared.

As she explored franchise ownership, BrightStar Care stood out for its full continuum of care, strong support system, and collaborative network of franchisees. Today, Jill is preparing to open her BrightStar Care location with a clear mission: helping more families access the care and support they need to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Richard Fulton path to BrightStar Care was shaped by a lifelong appreciation for service and a desire to make a meaningful impact in his community.

After building a successful career in marketing and operations, Richard was inspired to pursue business ownership by his family's experience caring for aging loved ones. Witnessing the challenges of caregiving firsthand reinforced the importance of accessible, high-quality home care and motivated him to bring those services closer to the families who need them most.

“Seeing my mom care for both of her parents really opened my eyes to just how much comes with being a caregiver,” Richard shared. “That's when I realized how important quality home care can be for an entire family.”

Today, Richard is bringing BrightStar Care's full continuum of care to the Southwest Atlanta and College Park community, combining his business expertise with a commitment to supporting families and expanding access to quality care close to home.

What a great day at Delmar Gardens of O’Fallon! It was a genuine pleasure to spend time, have fun, and mingle with the wonderful residents in our community.

Our BrightStar table was all set up, and our Community Liaison, Boland, was so thankful to have her sister volunteer, making sure everyone who needed help got it. Especially a 104-year-old, very competitive lady who couldn't hear the calls very well. She came to win!

We are already looking forward to our next visit!

✨ Last night we had the privilege of hosting a truly beautiful Continuing Education event for our area healthcare professionals.

Amy Camie, “The Healing Harpist,” shared her gift of music and a powerful reminder about Creating Harmony Within Us and Around Us. She showed us how music can touch places words cannot — opening space for understanding, self-awareness, and even healing.

Imagine being a caregiver, a son, daughter, or spouse walking alongside a loved one with dementia. The journey can be overwhelming — sad, frustrating, and exhausting. And then… a melody plays.
