Well stated information. This was all over my feed when it first came out. The normal risk is at most 0.01% or 1 in 10,000 people. It doubles to 0.02% w/ a GLP-1. But a microscopic percentage doubled is still a microscopic percentage. Yes, it’s a risk to be aware of, but in many cases, the benefits of GLP-1s outweigh this risk.

Having a rough day (week/monthsss)… then these cuties from Immanuel Lutheran dropped off this sweet surprise. I love this community. Thank you ALL for your support. I appreciate you so much ❤️

Edited to add: despite this, I have the best patients and an amazing support system. Owning a small business is not for the faint of heart, but I am so grateful for all of you ❤️

My amazing friend! If you have any gluten free needs, she’s the bomb!

Missing Ingredients comes from a deeply personal place. After being diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases and a wheat allergy in 2010, I had to rebuild my life from the ground up. Food had always been tied to my happiest memories, and losing the ability to enjoy the things I loved was heartbreaking. So, I got stubborn. If I couldn’t find gluten‑free food that tasted like the real thing, I was going to learn to make it myself.
Years of trial, error, and a very patient husband later, I finally created recipes that brought that joy back. Baking became my escape, then my passion, and eventually my career. After COVID—and later being laid off—I decided life was too short not to do what I love. I started selling from home, then at farmers markets and pop‑ups, sharing gluten‑free treats with people who know exactly what it feels like to lose food you love.
Today I’m still baking to order and showing up at markets while dreaming of my own commercial gluten‑free space. Being trusted with something as important as your food—especially when getting it wrong can make someone sick—is an honor I never take lightly. Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. I can’t wait to keep bringing you gluten‑free goodies that everyone will enjoy.
