It’s my birthday month. And the longer I run this studio, the more I think the best part of this practice has never been the poses. It’s the people next to you doing them.
Yoga gets framed as something solo, something personal, something you do alone on a mat. And it is that. But the version of it that actually sticks, the version that turns into a habit instead of a phase, almost always has someone else attached to it. A friend who comes with you. A familiar face who notices when you skip a week. A community that makes showing up feel less like a chore and more like where you’re supposed to be.
That’s the part I want more of this month.
So here’s what we’re doing: bring a friend to class on 7/29 and they get in free. Passes will be at the front desk, grab one the next time you are in for a class. Just bring someone you think would love sharing this with you.
Yoga is better when it’s not just yours. Let’s fill the room.
