**The Back Squat: one of the most effective movements for building lower-body strength. 🏋️♀️**
The squat trains your quads, glutes, hips, and core while reinforcing a movement pattern we use every day—from sitting and standing to lifting and climbing stairs.
A few important cues:
✔️ Brace your core before you descend
✔️ Keep your whole foot planted
✔️ Let your knees track with your toes
✔️ Keep the bar balanced over your midfoot
✔️ Allow your torso to lean naturally while maintaining a neutral spine
✔️ Drive through your whole foot and keep your hips and chest rising together
And remember: **good squat form doesn’t look exactly the same on everyone.** Your anatomy, mobility, stance, and bar position all influence how your squat looks.
Train the movement well, progressively increase the challenge, and build strength that carries over into everyday life.
**Strong legs. Strong foundation. Stronger for life.**
