What started off as a selfish thought, “I can never get to a blood drive around here, they are always either too far or don’t work with my schedule”……..

Turned into Happy Dog’s first American Red Cross Blood Drive! When I contacted the Red Cross and they came out to do a site survey they asked how many donors I thought we could get and I honestly had no clue. Our goal was set at 19.

30+ donors came out today and donated blood to help save lives.

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to support Happy Dog’s first blood drive. We are looking forward to many more! Possibly the next in December and then shoot for twice a year after that.

The sky might not look as blue as this photo from July, but it does seem that the rain has cleared long enough for us to practice one last time outside to finish up our August schedule!

Mondays on the boardwalk end this morning, so join us out there one last time at 9am! (After today, Mondays are back in studio across the street (unless of course it’s perfect weather, then we will sneak outside))

It’s our 2nd “Fill the Park” fundraiser! This year we are raising money for the Palmer park trail head restroom (you may have seen construction has already started!)
