Daniel J. “Dan” Jeroue, age 71, of St. Clair, passed away August 10, 2026 surrounded by his loving family, after a years long battle with dementia.
He was born November 8, 1954 in St. Clair to the late Archie and Joann Jeroue. He married Debra Eifert on March 10, 1978 in St. Clair.
Dan spent his years staying busy both at work and at home. He had a long career in the tool and die industry that included many years with Blue Water Plastics. He was an avid golfer. Playing baseball meant a great deal to him starting at a young age. Dan also enjoyed woodworking and riding his bike through town, visiting with friends and neighbors along the way. He was a passionate craftsman, which included his restoration of an antique Chris Craft, and many other projects. He spent countless hours tinkering on other hobbies and repairs in his garage.
Most of all he cherished his time spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Debbie Jeroue, his children; Bridgett (Steve) Moore, Jessica (Jason) Hill and Derek Jeroue.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Gwen, Clint, Everett, Lilly and Penny, his brother; Chip (Teri) Jeroue, his sister; Nancy (Larry) McIntyre, lifetime friend and golf partner; Ken McCormick, along with his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Linda Jeroue.
